(Since the other participants in this thread are no longer members, we'll just assume they are returning the samples/information to the Seireitei, Hibiki; and you are questioning locals. I imagine your character is inquisitive enough to find this unusual individual worthy of some attention. Anyone who would like to drop in though is welcome to.)
Immediately, the individual turned around and revealed his features to Hibiki more clearly, up close. He was just a boy, it would appear, one whom had a childish ensemble and appearance that seemed characteristically intent on lavishing attention upon himself - predictable for an adolescent such as he. With his youthful, indignant eyes set on Shissiru Hibiki, he spoke again with a tune slightly shakier, as if the closing gap between him and the Shinigami demoralized him slightly.
"Yeah, my crater," he mirrored so audaciously.
“I think some questions need to be answered… You think you can help?”
Less hostile than Bnayr had expected. Whatever.
"Yeah, I'll answer your questions if I decide I wanna. Well, what're you waiting for? Let's hear 'em!"
Appearance: Standing at six foot four with a lanky figure, he looks anorexic. It's a complete mystery where all the food he eats goes. Another notable feature about Kitaro is his messy hair, being frizzy and falling all over the place around his head. When wet, it straightens out and falls halfway down his neck. When he moves, it bounces around with him.
His skin is a light tan, and his eyes are steely and gray. They are narrow, they are cold, they are mocking at times. When he appears to be in good spirits, his eyes can show the mocking gaze that he truly holds for anyone who may be falling for it.
He wears the typical shinigami uniform, the black hakama and the kimono. His sword is tucked away in his sash when it's not being used. Another notable feature of Kitaro's attire are his geta; they each have steel plates on the bottom, used to parry some attacks, or to add an extra edge to kicks. (No they are not part of his zanpakuto.) Personality:Hotheaded, rude, and often called a jerk, Kitaro is nothing but an anti hero. He thinks not with his mind, but with his stomach. If one had to guess, it'd be likely that anyone who knew Kitaro would assume his loyalties lie with the first person to offer the most food (Not to mention he's always hungry and will steal food from just about anyone). He doesn't seem very reliable, although he can get his job done on occasion.
However, those occassions are rare, and hardly ever found. He's lazy in a sense, all over the place when he isn't under orders to complete a mission. He claims that when he's given orders, those orders are 'too much work,' but will fulfill them if he's convinced they weren't orders to begin with. In other words, if he's told to fight someone by a superior, he's less likely to actually go through with it. Despite his love of action. Really, he's just blatantly disrespectful.
However, when he does get to fighting, he's all over the place. He mixes various martial arts when he fights, and has a tendancy to parry attacks with the steel plates on the bottoms of his geta. He talks trash nonstop, and is angered very easily. Finding someone that he cares for enough to stop a fight he's already started is unlikely. The only way he'll stop is if he's unable to fight, or dragged away.
Every friend Kitaro makes is only ever protected because of his twisted idea that he's the only one allowed to kill them. Before he can be dealt a killing blow, or before a friend can be dealt a killing blow, he'll say
something along the lines of, "You can't kill me because I have someone else to kill first," or, "You can't kill him because that's my place." Twisted as it sounds, it's his way of saying he doesn't want his friend to die.
Fighting Style: Agressive and tricky
History:Kitaro's habits of stealing food are not without reason. No one knows where Kitaro was born, seeing as he had amnesia at a very young age. All he knew was that he ended up in the sixty-second district of the Rukongai by the time he was seven. Everything before that was a blur, and he spent quite some time wandering the district. Quite simply, he was always hungry and had no money. So he developed a habit of stealing food from anyone who left it out. Along with any water people left within his grasp. He can't be blamed for the misfortune of him running into these short cravings for food, can he? Well, it got him into quite a few tight spots. He was nearly killed by a gang of angry residents within the first week of his appearing in the 62nd district, just because he grabbed the rice someone left sitting on a wooden fence. He was chased until he met a dead end, and would have been killed too, if he hadn't looked so pitiful that the leader declared he wasn't worth killing. Had it not been for those three words, he wouldn't have ever become a shinigami.
He started to have nightmares about himself sleepwalking in a feild full of gray grass and a starless sky overhead. But the dreams were oddly real, and they still haunted him until it occured to him that if he tried to become a shinigami he wouldn't have to live in the hellhole known as the sixty-second district. And so, he entered the shinigami academy. Unfortunately, it took him nearly twice as long to pass through, seeing as he relied on his agility, and his strange style of fighting, having absolutely zero ability with kido. He was considered a menance, and many of his senseis wondered why he was so... Well, most of them didn't like Kitaro, let's just leave it at that. He had a problem with authority back then, seeing as he was scarred for life after the rice incident. He had a bit of a trust issue, and responding to commands he was given became too much work. Literally.
It was quite a shock when he graduated after his second whack at it. He was somewhere over a hundred by that time, and he was a bit of a laughing stock at first. It took years for him to get those people to shut up about his lack of 'skill.' People who focused more on using forms for swordsmanship thought that he used too many unnecassary movements. People who fought him with hand to hand thought he lacked form. Anyone he met knew he lacked respect for anyone but himself. Division and Seat:
Sealed Zanpakuto:Itachi is a nasty looking katana with a black hilt and a blade with a sharp angle as opposed to the normal curve that many katanas possess. The hilt has two points that point down and are capable of being used to parry attacks from a sword. While the blade is an average length for a katana, 24.5 inches, the hilt is just barely longer than what would be needed for three of Kitaro's hands to grip it.
Release Phrase:Kitaro will hold his blade out before him with his arm paralell to his knee, and will then turn his wrist so the blade faces the ground. Then he will say, 'Hinder our foes, Itachi.
Shikai:Itachi's released form seems like a very vicious weapon, being a black, metalic peice of equipment that is slipped between Kitaro's fingers that cover his knuckles. There are four blades, each jetting out from where his knuckles are. The blades look like scale models of his sealed form, reaching out to an entire foot at the most. All in all, the weapon looks like there are claws jetting out of his hands Shikai Abilities:Changing Length: The blades can change length, the highest length being up to a foot. When they change length, it is usually to allow free movement. This is similar to having retractable claws. However, if a blade breaks, that blade can no longer change lengths. If all four blades break, all other abilities become unaccessable. The blades extend at a rate of one inch per second.
Unsei: Every other time this is used in a fight, the affects backfire on Kitaro. It simply causes the blades to extend to their limits (12 inches long) at a speed that nearly seems like the blades are being magically poofed into existance (basically moving at the speed of his shunpo.) However, if this is one of those moments when it backfires, one of the blades will break off in the process, leaving a clean break at the base. This is why the blades normally extend at an inch per second.

In the past there was the great ones. But that could only last for so long and now they have passed beyond our world. Their descendants, the fey, ignorantly called 'supernaturals' by humans, carried on. However, they were forced into the shadows and became things of myth and legend, stories to be told to frighten young ones. Men took their position at the top of the food chain. The old soon wither and die and new generations are passed the torch, there are few now who now the tale. But the old who are strong carry on, however slight we may be, we have successfully carried on our tribe. The number of fey that was so diminished is now increasing again. The species are rebuilding and regrouping. We of the Animals’ Souls are one of the most prevailing. A migration has begun and our kind is now gathering to one city, intergrading themselves into the humans lives.
And where will you be in all this, what will be your part? Will you just sit there and watch the world change around you. Or will you become what you are meant to be and join in. How can you make a difference, and in the process will you become a thing of legend yourself. There is only one way to discover the answer and you’re the only one to make the choice. To Be or Not To Be that is the question.
Welcome to NYC, the city so nice they named it twice. But that's just how the saying goes anyways. Instead we welcome you to the place that's different from what you always heard. We've got the real deal. Sex, drugs and rock and roll are the guidelines in this place. But there's also the growing trend of tagging taking place. No matter where you go there's always a graffiti tag defacing someone or something. Four main groups stand above the rest. Scene Junkie, Insolent Montage, Dropkick Dread, and Surging Haze are trying to make themselves #1. So where do you fit in to all of this? Are you the one making the tags no one will ever forget or are you being left behind with all the empty spray cans?
vampire diaries - love sucks « Result #6 on Dec 1, 2009, 4:48pm »
Dear Diary, I LIVE IN HELL And we’re all going to die. Well that was pessimistic of me. We won’t all die. I think.
Everything seemed so much easier back when Fell's Church only had to deal with vampires like Klaus. But now, now we’ve got an upgrade to Spurcus Décor, an insane and bloodthirsty vampire coven. They want Fell’s Church for its power leys, to help them be the strongest, to help them have control, to help them take over the world, blah blah blah.
The same with Loups Garous, the werewolf pack. They want the power to. It’s a war in Fell’s Church, an open, bloody and deadly war between the bloodthirsty vamps and the pissed off werewolves. Fell's Church has always attracted the supernatural, ever since the civil war.
Oh yeah, and those new demons we’ve got don’t help the situation either.
Basically, diary, we’re all fucked.
We've run out of options, run out of fighters. But we've still got to make a stand. Lets just hope I don’t die again, that would suck.

Ok. First things first; I don't even see a section for your appearance. I realize that a picture can sometimes be more effective than words, but this is a requirement that every other member has been held to and so shall you. Also, your personality section is still in need of quite a bit of elaboration. It is also hard to picture an Espada who enjoys the company or humans, much less Shinigami. I haven't spoken to any of the other admins about this, but I don't see a way for that to work. Espada are revered for their hatred of Shinigami and eagerness to do away with any challenger.
Let's start with these modifications and once I'm satisfied with said sections we can move on to the meat of your profile. Welcome to a Bleached Experience.

Kiyoko tilted her head a little as the woman spoke, letting her awkward silences stretch out and be just that - silence. There was a confession of sorts taking place, and the mystic was more than willing to let that happen.
"You do not need to remain in the Below; you can choose to go where you wish, or you would not be here."
Her eyes glanced down to the woman's bleeding hand. Blood was memory, it was power. It was something else the two women inadvertently shared; Kiyoko's being her living blood, the arrancar's being the memory blood of spirits.
"You choose who or what you allow to command you."

She paused, then the woman turned to her, and began to speak. The first questioned would be hard to answer, she paused, and looked up. “I am from a place, called Hueco Mundo, I suppose..it is like the bibles hell..” she spoke, and stared at the statue, with the woman, her arms limply at her sides, as dark clouds began to slowly, but surely fill the sky. Kyoko stared up…clouds….She stayed quiet. Then the woman continued to stare at Kyoko. She paused, and stared back, and it was an awkward silence, in the grave yard.
“Chains…I have long broken out of those chains.” she spoke. “I know you can’t see them, but this is just another story, about the bitter pills of fate.” she spoke, “When I was human, I traded my emotions, but when I died.” she stared down at the grave next to the woman’s. “I realized….I was more of a monster then anyone could have been.” she spoke.
“I am not like the rest, I refuse to forget, it had been beaten into, my skin, my blood…” she spoke, and picked off the scab, and blood leaked out again, small crystal petals, floating to the ground. “Not to forget, the monster I will never be.” she spoke, quietly. Yet the chains will forever stay on her, although they will never be visible.
