This site is a non-canon role play. Bleach: Path of the Soul, the sub-site rp, is canon with non-canons, but it is a separate continuity. When you apply for a character they CANNOT have canon-references.
1: Disliking an individual or their conduct is allowed, posting inflammatory material is not. If you have an issue with how one conducts himself or role plays, submit your concerns to the staff or speak with the user on a civil level. Do not make a spectacle about it, other member do not need to know about your issues with a given individual if they don't want to.
2: In role play, profanity is allowed, suggestive themes are allowed, and some degree of gratuitous violence and gore is allowed, if all used responsibly. Use the mature board when necessary. Racism will not be tolerated.
3: You may have as many characters as you want, provided you can keep up posting with all of them. There is no limitation, except that you can't have a character in a leadership position in multiple locations (can't have a Captain/Lieutenant AND an Espada/Privaron Espada.) We encourage a certain degree of competition between the factions.
4: You may not begin as a high ranked character. You may, however, become one with time. Refer to the character creation thread for information.
5: Common sense rules apply. No spam, no trying to increment your post count or karma for silly reasons, and no harassment of other members. If you HAD to be told this rule, then you better think it over in depth.
6: Vizard are gained through trust and a selective process known only to the administration. If you don't truly think you deserve it, don't ask for it. Same goes for staff positions.
6.5: Vasto Lorde applications will not be accepted. Neither will applications that allude to interaction with Vasto Lorde. The staff has unique plans involving the Vasto Lorde for the plot, so we can't have people using them in their history or characters.
7: Passworded boards are passworded for a reason. If anyone other than a staff member gives out a password, both parties involved will be severely punished and barred from those boards. And yes, we CAN tell who goes to what boards.
8: Though I doubt it needs to be said, god-moding will not be tolerated. God-moding is when you try to take control of an aspect of a character that doesn't belong to you, or when you refuse to acknowledge the consequences of yours and others actions. If you witness this contact the staff and we will resolve the issue in a fair and professional manner.
9: Meta-gaming, too, will not be tolerated. Meta-gaming is when you know or act on something in-character that you only know out-of-character. An example would be Esper realizing Zabasaz's treachery and possession of the Seal when there was no evidence or reason to think so. If you feel someone in meta-gaming, ask the staff to judge. We will ask them to stop, if so.
10: Use the Workshop for incomplete characters, or post it all in one in the application section for staff approval. READ THESE THOROUGHLY. Character App/Guide Power/Ability Guide
11: Do not make solely OOC posts in IC threads. You can include OOC information if it pertains to the rp, but otherwise no entirely OOC posts. OOC posts that are spotted will be deleted. (This rule made as of April 30, 2009. Prior posts will not be deleted.)
